1.4923 / X22CrMoV12-1 Round Bars

1.4923 Round Bars is a Martensitic Stainless Steel grade, which can be heat threated. This grade is written as 1.4923 or X22CrMoV12-1 according to EN norm and sometime, it can also be writen as 1.4922 and X20CrMoV12-1. 1.4923 stainless steel is a combination of chromium, molibdenium, vanadium, nickel elements. 1.4923 material shows a good performance up to 580 degree celcius in many applications. 1.4923 has good mechanical properties both in room temperature and in high temperatures up to 580 degree. 1.4923 is not suitable for very high temperatures and other grades should be used for higher temperatures. 1.4923 and 1.4922 are really close to each other and in many material certicate, most of the materials confirms both 1.4923 and 1.4922 standard. So most of the time, we can see both of these grades in the same material certificate.
